So that went by far too fast, and I didn't manage to acheive even a billionth of what I wanted to before it started. Oh well. Next season this place will be great.

Face the Crucible!

So a week has gone, and no doubt you'll be thinking about just how epic the first episode was. If you want to join in the lively (*snerk*) discussions of the up-coming episode, pay us a visit.

In other news we have a new fanfic on the forums, from not_your_mommy, guaranteed to be a hit! The story begins around 20 years after the events of season 2 and covers the adventures of Dean Venture, now a successful children's author, Brock Sampson an a whole bunch of other new and familiar faces.

Time to give this a whirl...

Right, so I'm still in the process of setting up but the season 3 premier of The Venture Brothers is apparently upon us, or at least upon those lucky enough to live where it's being broadcast already. You lucky dogs...

The anticipation for Season 3 is almost unbearable for some (like me, for instance). Is Sheila, that is, Dr Girlfriend, pregnant? Does she really have a baboon's uterus? Is she actually Dr Mrs Monarch now? And just who will step into the void now that The Phantom Limb finally bought the semi-visible farm? Only time will tell... and also you people who get to watch it, so feel free to join our Forums to tell us your thoughts.

Anyway! Right now I should probably explain what's going on here. What is this site? Why did I make it? And so on... Venture Industries is a fan site, a place where I want people to be able to come together to appreciate The Venture Brothers in all its rather nifty glory.. What that means is, I want to see your art, your writing, your articles of appreciation and discussion. I want to see you people come along, swamp us with your creative output and show the creators of this fine show exactly how much you appreciate it.

I mean, apart from all the appreciation you give Jackson Publick over at his Livejournal... and wherever Doc Hammer gets to be appreciated, apart from that too. I guess that would mostly be at cons and stuff... anyway apart from all of that what I want Venture Industries to be is a place where you can really find your niche, a place to be appreciated in your turn, where you can show off just how incredibly awesome you are and find yourself amongst like-minded types who are also incredibly awesome.

So please, welcome yourselves.

There will be more features turning up sooner or later. I plan to have a rather more interactive and entertaining site in the near future but, for now, it's just the Forums. Come one, come all...

Oh yeah, and try to stay out of the lab. It's still a bit of a mess.
